This policy explains how CaliforniaFilings.com, owned by Blazing Star LLC, collects and uses personal information.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, company details, the names and addresses of owners, managers, officers and directors, and anything you include in a message or order.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information: basic data your browser sends, such as IP address and device type, used for security and to keep the site working.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare and submit your filings, provide registered agent service, obtain an EIN if you ask us to, respond to messages, process payments, meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.
What becomes public
Information filed with the California Secretary of State becomes public record. Our LLC with privacy service is designed to keep your personal name and address off those public filings. We tell you before filing what will be public.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to provide our services: with the California Secretary of State and other agencies you ask us to file with, our payment processor, our form and email providers (our contact and order forms are processed by FormSubmit; payments are processed by PayPal), and when required by law. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Third-party services
Our fonts and files are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send your information to font providers. If we use advertising or analytics tools, they may set cookies; you can block cookies in your browser settings.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
