Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of CaliforniaFilings.com and to the services you order from us. CaliforniaFilings.com is owned and operated by Blazing Star LLC (“we,” “us”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Our service
We prepare and submit business filings with the California Secretary of State based on the information you give us, and provide the related services described for the package you buy. We are a private document filing service. We are not a law firm or a CPA firm, we do not give legal, tax or accounting advice, and no attorney-client or accountant-client relationship is created. We are not affiliated with any government agency. You may file directly with the state and pay only the state fees.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, for choosing the type of entity that suits you, and for meeting ongoing obligations such as the Statement of Information, taxes, licenses and permits. You confirm that you are authorized to form or register the company and that the company will be used for lawful purposes.
3. Timing
Next-business-day service means that orders received complete by 12:00 noon Pacific Time on a business day are submitted that day using the state’s 24-hour expedited service. Approval and processing times are controlled by the Secretary of State and are not guaranteed. Business days exclude weekends and California state holidays. Orders that are incomplete, or that need corrections from you, are submitted once complete.
4. Prices and fees
Prices are shown on our website and state which government fees they include. State fees, including expedite fees, are set by the state, may change, and are paid to the state on your behalf. The state keeps expedite fees whether a filing is approved or rejected.
5. Privacy service
Our LLC with privacy service is designed to keep your personal name and address off the public state filings. It does not conceal ownership from tax agencies, financial institutions, courts or others legally entitled to it, and it may not be used to avoid taxes, creditors or legal obligations. Information that is public by law, such as the company’s principal office address, remains public.
6. Registered agent service
The first year of registered agent service is included in each formation package. Renewal is $75 per year. If service is not renewed, you must appoint a new agent with the Secretary of State. We forward documents we receive to the contact details you give us, and you are responsible for keeping them current.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the service fees you paid us for the order involved, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including delays caused by the state.
