Refund policy
Effective October 18, 2026.
Before we file
If you cancel before we submit your filing to the California Secretary of State, we refund your order in full.
After we file
Once a filing is submitted, the state fees, including any expedite fee, have been paid to the state and cannot be refunded, because the state keeps them whether a filing is approved or rejected. Our service fee is earned once your documents are prepared and submitted.
If the state rejects a filing
If the state rejects a filing, we contact you, correct it and resubmit it. If a rejection was caused by our error, we resubmit at no additional service charge and pay any additional state fee.
Registered agent service
Renewal fees for registered agent service are refundable if you cancel within 30 days of the renewal charge and we have not received documents on your behalf during that period.
